Drug side effects may cause suicidal or homicidal ideation

Created by T.P. on April 05, 2014

It is our concern that focus has been diverted from the root cause of the problem of tragedies.

In most cases of recent suicides and homicides, it appears that psychotropic medications were prescribed that may have influenced behavior without adequate monitoring. These medications have side effects which include suicidal or homicidal ideation.

It is hereby requested that:

A study be conducted of homicides/suicides of recent tragedies to identify psychotropic medications involved.

Medications identified be discontinued from dispensing, or that simultaneous counseling be given for those prescriptions.

Our veterans are a national resource that should not be made into drug created suicidal or homicidal tragedies.

Weapons are not the issue, but the mindset. Drugs do change minds.
