Jobs. They have been given to millions if not billions of individuals over the 200+ years of this great country. Some of us have part-time jobs, some full-time, and others barely work at all, but we all have some source of income. Unfortunately, many low-income families in poor communities cannot be hired by an employer because he/she sells drugs or uses drugs. Millions of hard-working people are resorting to drug dealing out of desperation because 1. They do not qualify for welfare or 2. They have committed a crime in the past that prevents them from being hired. If we were to offer remission for these people, our economy would increase and these communities would improve dramatically.
