Due to the broken congress, now is the time to create a national initiative process as an amendment to the constitution.

All American citizens have seen the ineffectual Congress in action due to hyper-partisan politics and the influence of huge amounts of money buying congressman on behalf of Wall Street, billionaires, and billion dollar corporations. The average American has been diminished to merely a memory of influence in the political gamesmanship played by the moneyed interests controlling (and enriching) the people empowered to make decisions on our behalf. Corruption is rampant throughout our national political environment. IT IS FINALLY TIME TO GET SOME CONTROL BACK INTO THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE! A national initiative system like many states have in place would allow citizens to bypass our dysfunctional Congress and reclaim control of ineffective, bought-and-paid-for professional politicians.
