Our elected Officials are failing to serve the People by not doing the job they are elected to do. They procrastinate on almost every bill that hits the floor. Wait til the last minute to pass anything and delay voting on bills because they have a vacation coming up or it's almost time for elections. Furthermore they accept pay offs from lobbyists to vote yes or no on certain bills. This is not what the American People are paying them to do. If you can't do your job right as with all jobs you get punished, this is why i call for a reduction in pay as punishment for poor job performance.
Keep in mind that the only thing they vote quickly on is a pay raise for themselves. Also keep in mind that these elected officials also get paid what they are getting paid now for the rest of their life.
