Due to Mozilla's lack of tolerance for differing viewpoints, direct all Federal agencies to remove the Firefox browser

Created by D.W. on April 04, 2014

Recently it was learned that Mozilla Foundation CEO Brendan Eich was pressured to resign due to a $1,000 donation to support California's Prop 8 during the 2008 election. Mozilla's Chairwoman of the Board Mitchell Baker stated that this was based exclusively on his 2008 donation.

Mr Eich's support for opposing same sex marriage was identical to millions of other Californians, as well as President Obama himself at the time.

Despite Mozilla's repeated statements about inclusivity, diversity, & respect for opposing ideological viewpoints among its workforce, this action has shown them to be bigoted, hypocritical, & narrow-minded.

Therefore, we are petitioning this administration to direct all federal agencies to require the removal of all Firefox browsers from government computer systems.
