DUI Penalty needs to be more severe in order to deter crime and the potential death of innocent people.

Created by A.C. on December 17, 2012

I want there to be a universal penalty for anyone who is found guilty of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and DUI Manslaughter. If an individual is found guilty of DUI 1st offense should be 1 year in jail, second offense 2 years, 3rd offense 5 years.
If an individual is convicted of DUI Manslaughter they should face a minimum of 10 years in prison.

DUI is a very serious problem in our society and one that takes the lives of countless innocent people everyday. We need to become tougher in its enforcement and punishment.
