dust off The Cell Phone User Bill of Rights. Ammend it to protect citizens from industry norm unfair service contracts.

Created by T.K. on January 14, 2013

Does The Cell Phone Users Bill of Rights sit forgotten? We now get to port (keep) our cell numbers, yes, but the U.S. government has far from addressed the crooked marketplace that is the cell phone carrier industry.

Read the bill. http://beta.congress.gov/bill/108th-congress/senate-bill/1216

It's time to dust it off and put it to work. Wireless carriers have had a veritable party on our tab through their industry wide unfair business practice of requiring unusually long contracts which do nothing for the consumer and everything for their company's bottom line.

President Obama, please consider what can be done to remedy this ongoing insult and injury to the American public. At least 88% of US Adults use a cell phone. It's time to reign in the wireless carriers and promote fair practice!
