We fully support the rights of all citizens, residents, legal aliens, and visitors to the United States of America to freely express their viewpoints.
We recognize that no one right supersedes another, and the right to free speech and freedom of the press is necessary to a free and vibrant state. These freedoms permit us all to be heard, but they do not in any way protect us from hearing ideas we disagree with. As signers of this petition, we fully support and endorse Piers Morgan's right to speak his mind, whether we agree with what he says or not.
In response to any petitions to deport him or other members of the press, we ask the administration to respectfully remind the signers of the first amendment to the constitution.
