Autism is already at record levels and these children do not fit into public schools general populations. The foremost leader in Brain and Behavioral Studies, Dr. Terrence Sejnowski, propose that many autistic adolescents (particularly, high-functioning) should be in schools general population. The key is early intensive intervention. All public school teachers and home-schooling parents should be provided skills developing workshops, course, etc. to comprehend the dynamics such as grey and white matter that changes between the ages of 10-12, the continual growth of neurons, the prime growth period for frontal lobes, the plasticity of the frontal lobes or oppositional defiant disorder. This will lower crime, illiteracy, homelessness, etc.
