The Cylon threat to Earth is too great to ignore. Like Zombies, the intrinsic threat to us has been building for years. A fleet of space-born battleship/aircraft carriers would provide a sufficient defense force against our robot enemies. By funneling money from Payday Advance outlets and for "Green Energy" the construction of Galactica Class Battlestars can be fully funded with an option to siphon funds from Social Security and Government Motors when we inevitably blow through the first Gross National Product just trying to administrate this grand undertaking. We might also have to acquiesce revenues from the People's Democratic Republic of China. Ultimately these warships could dominate space, and thus the orbit of Earth. The "Ultimate Agenda" could then go forward.
