Ease the burden of school taxes to specifically property owners. Education has nothing to do with what someone owns.

Created by P.M. on January 26, 2013

Currently the amount of school tax someone pays is directly assessed by the value of they property they own. This is unfair taxation. As a population grows in a school district, naturally the school has to adapt. There is only so much property to own, a vast majority of the population rents. RENTERS do not pay school tax, so the weight of taxes rest on property owner.
School Taxes should be payed by everyone as a percentage of their income. Just like federal, state, and social security.
