FHA guidelines call for a minimum of a three year waiting period to purchase a home after unavoidable financial hardships many people have suffered due to the economic downturn and unemployment. Fannie Mae, VA, USDA and other Government backed loans have similar restrictions. Getting people currently ineligible for home loans back into the housing market sooner will spur job creation and growth and promote better economic stability for this Country. Loans should be made with fiscally responsible lending requirements and less wait time restrictions. Billions in Government backed loans bailed out the companies who set up the financial crisis, but the people who suffered losses are the ones paying the price for their greed. Ease loan restrictions and waiting periods on Government backed loans
