Regardless of Japan's request to keep the name of "Sea of Japan," America shall deny it by the means of the protection of Korea's rights.
Japan have made its own students and students of western world to misunderstand that it is "Sea of Japan."
However, Japan's countless historical maps clearly show that it was "East Sea." Also, Dokdo/Ulleungdo, which Japan is now putting its effort to take them away from Korea, are shown that they have been Korea's properties.
According to Japan's petition, Koreans want American forces out. But Koreans do NOT.
US shall not accept Japan's request to keep the name, the "Sea of Japan," since it was named in the 1920's, not in the beginning of Japan's history, based on Japan's "greediness."
Thus, we request to change it to the "East Sea," the original name!
