Regardless of Japan's request to keep the name of "Sea of Japan," America shall deny it by the means of the protection of Korea's rights.
Japan is having the students of both Japan and western world to misunderstand that it has been "Sea of Japan" since the first place.
However, countless of Japanese maps show that it was "East Sea," not "Sea of Japan." Also, the maps show that Dokdo/Ulleungdo belong to Korea, which now Japan is trying to take them away from Korea.
According to Japan's petition, Koreans want American forces out. But Koreans do NOT.
USA shall not accept the request to keep "Sea of Japan," since it was only named in 1920's based on Japan's "greediness."
Therefore, we, the people of the world, is requesting to change the name of the sea to its original name, the "East Sea."
