The East Sea Korean Territory is falsely called the Sea of Japan.

The East Sea was originally under South Korean control before the Japanese invasion of South Korea. After South Korea was liberated from Japan by the United States, Japan refused to hand over control of the East Sea back over to Korea. Japan had no right to claim as their own as it was not their territory from the start and had no right to rename the East Sea to the Sea of Japan. Japan refused to and still refuses to return the East Sea back to it's original identity. The youth of America is being taught false information when teachers refer to the body of water east of Korea as the Sea of Japan and claim it to be Japanese territory. It is wrong to allow a country to claim control of another country's land and the United States should help South Korea fight for what is rightfully theirs.
