The recent tragedies were not committed because of the gun; they were committed because the owners are uneducated and not properly trained. We need more training, more education, and the existing laws need to be enforced. In this country no one is held responsible for their actions, this goes back to the enforcing of current laws. This must change with all aspects of life. People must be held responsible.
Mr. President, with all due respect, if you and your family need 24/7 security by men and women with full automatics and/or 3 round burst “assault” weapons, then doesn’t our families deserve the same? If you disagree Mr. President, then we ask you to have your security give up their "assault" weapons.
With more training and education comes more responsibility, safety, and understanding.
