Educate the public by handing out copies of the U.S. Flag Code, a list of rules and regulations for flying a U.S. flag.

Created by J.C. on September 21, 2015

When you think of the American flag, what words come to mind? Patriotism? Freedom? Bravery? Sacrifice? Each of these characteristics should be upheld and contemplated when one sees the American flag. Many people fly flags proudly in their front yard, out of a window, or even from their cars. As patriotic as this seems, most of these people do not show knowledge of their country and show their lack of education by flying or hanging their flag incorrectly. The United States has developed a flag code in which each American citizen should be aware of. When you sign this petition, you say “I want the United States Government to fund the printing and distribution of a flag code to each home in America.”
