Our Constitution, and more specifically the First Amendment, gives us freedom of speech and the right to petition the government for a redress of grievences. Signing a petition to withdraw your state from the Union may seem drastic and ill concieved, however it is within our rights. The action people are taking is a good measure of how some citizens feel about our current administration and the direction our country is headed. All I ask is that those who would have others deported or stripped of citizenship for simply exercising their rights, be properly educated in regards to our Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
