Educating Citizens About Domestic Violence

Created by K.L. on February 01, 2014

In the United States, South Carolina is the state with the highest statistics of women killed by men from domestic violence and this needs to be eliminated. This can be done by supporting this following message to the Governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley to add education regarding the topic to all citizens.

Ms. Haley,

In South Carolina, there were 61 women who were killed by men in a domestic violence dispute in 2011. This is obviously not acceptable so I think there should be steps taken to end this issue. Educating young men and women about this can drastically help the situation. With that said, I need your help creating a state-wide "Domestic Violence Day" where there are multiple ways of educating South Carolina citizens about the dangers, signs, and how to end domestic violence.
