Students in today's day and age are unaware of the threat of cancer. We, as a nation, should come together to change the curriculum of health classes to include cancer research so that the future generation is aware of this danger.
Everyday, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer and 12% of those children die (curesearch.org). Cancer can affect kids of all socioeconomic, ethnic, and gender backgrounds. To keep the future of our country safe, we need to educate them about this deadly disease by including more cancer research in health based classes.
