Whereas it has been years since the United States has had a budget passed by Congress and whereas the current budget stalemate has allowed "sequestration" to become effective, which will affect the lives and incomes of millions of Americans and whereas the current administration has eliminated tours of the White House as a fiscal savings, the time has come to eliminate Air Force One as an unaffordable luxury.
For personal travel such as vacation or campaign trips, the president and all members of the executive branch shall travel via commercial air in coach class.
For official travel, the executive branch may use either commercial coach carriers or military transport, as circumstances require.
