effectively ban always online and other invasive DRM on video games.

Created by M.H. on March 07, 2013

Recently, a game was introduced by the name of “SimCity” by the company Electronic Arts. It was released on March 5th, 2013 and was not playable by a significant amount of people who purchased it. Why? Always online DRM meant for piracy is negatively affecting legitimate consumers. In fact, often times the pirates crack the game anyways and they get to play the game where the paying customer has to wait in line.

Mr. President would you kindly consider banning always online DRM in games like Diablo 3, SimCity, and other primarily single player games. Diablo 3 and SimCity should have an offline mode available for their consumers.
