If a state enacts a ban on firearm magazines that hold more than a certain number of cartridges (CA-10, NY-7...), the ban should not make any exceptions for armed private security guards or state and local law enforcement. The logic being that law enforcement and private security face the same threats that private citizens defending themselves with firearms face. If it is ruled and believed that a private citizen does not have a need/right to "high capacity magazines"; by that logic no one has a need for them. Don't allow for any double standards.
