Bradley Manning was arrested May 2010. He was not even arraigned until February 2012, almost two full years after his arrest. He has been denied any reasonable semblance of his right to a speedy trial as called for in the Constitution. He has been denied counsel whilst being offered plea deals in violation of his rights. Furthermore, immediately sign S. 743 into law and apply its protections to Mr. Manning, retroactive to his arrest.
