There are a number of marijuana-related petitions on this website that have exceeded the number of required signatures. With respect to marijuana, the Federal government continues to act in purely intra-state commerce in ways that the drafters of the Eighteenth Amendment would have thought unconstitutional. This whole petition website has become meaningless if the Obama Administration continues to ignore the marijuana-related petitions on political grounds. It is time for the President to show some leadership and honesty on this issue. Is Change too much to ask for? Either address the marijuana-related petitions or take this ridiculous website down.
