We are calling for the Obama Administration to let states decide the legalization status of marijuana. The White House responded to previous "marijuana-legalization" petitions by stating that there have not been enough studies that found it to be beneficial in any way. While that is simply false and an ignorance of factual information, they cannot possibly deny the detriments to body, mind, and society by alcohol. It is not beneficial in any way, yet it is legal and regulated. Either be smart and regulate marijuana, or be fair and illegalize the severely detrimental, popular drug, alcohol.
