We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Elected Officials Are Not To Use Social Media in Lieu of Press Conferences For Policy Statements

Created by P.S. on December 18, 2016

Social Media (i.e. Twitter, Snapchat, and similar platforms), while useful to quickly disseminate needed information, should be limited to such. Since these platforms quickly communicate to a worldwide audience, it is imperative that the use of these tools by publicly elected officials be strictly limited so as to not inadvertently communicate the wrong message. It is a rare policy statement that can be accurately summarized in 140 characters, and it would be best if such comments be more carefully vetted and considered before broadcasting them to the world audience.
