Election Day - National Holiday

The right to vote is a privilege that many countries don't have but in the United States of America it is and outlined throughout many amendments to the United States Constitution. However, many hard working Americans don't have the privilege to make their vote count on the one day polls are open. Many don't have the convenience of having time to go stand in lines before work or afterwards. For one, many are working, two, they are providing for their families and returning home after work to look after them and three , they are working, during open hours. This is a Great Freedom and every American should be proud to participate and have the time to do so. I am petitioning that our Great Freedom become a Holiday, which will allow those paying payroll taxes be involved in electing government
