Personal and political obstacles often keep people out of the
voting booth. From job and family obligations to restrictions regarding absentee ballots and state ID laws, it has become increasingly difficult to exercise our constitutionally protected right to vote in federal elections. Making Election Day a Federal Holiday will make it a little easier for American citizens to exercise their right to vote.
