The electoral college and how we have had enough.

Created by T.G. on November 09, 2016

The electoral college may seem like a great idea but it is time for a change. My first election was Trump vs Hillary and I was proud to participate. However, my vote along with many others made almost no impact. I voted for the party my state was bound not to support. My vote was basically void. Another reason that the electoral college should be changed or abolished is that states with little value get no or very little attention. if we move away from this system large states would still be important but the individuals vote would count no matter where they live. Lastly, certain presidential nominees have won a majority vote but still lost. That is just counterintuitive. If the majority of the votes go to one candidate they should win, they should not win because one state swung their way
