This is the second election in the past twenty years where our President was chosen by a minority of the voting public. This not only removes any chance of them governing with a mandate, but it also creates a more divisive citizenry after the election is completed.
The Electoral College needs to be abolished to prevent this from ever happening again, and replaced with a popular vote.
