We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Electoral College REFORM , the "Republics Elect From Obvious Real Majorities" amendment.

We the undersigned ask the relevant bodies and political leaders to ammend the constitution of the United States of America to state:

Section 1: If a candidate for president of the United States recieves greater than 55% of the national popular vote; Then they will have been elected.

Section 2: If a candidate recieves greater than 50% but less than 55% of the popular vote and less than a majority in the electoral college; Then the outcome of the election shall be deemed a tie.

Section 3: In all other conditions the candiate who recieves a majority in the electoral college will have been elected.

The goal is to make it possible for a clear majority 55% winner of the presidential election to carry the day over the electoral college.
