The election was won by Trump fairly with no credible evidence of fraud or manipulation against Clinton. Recount efforts have shown this. Trump's geographical campaign strategy was designed to win the electoral college vote, as did Clinton, using more resources in key states. He would have campaigned differently if the goal was to win the popular vote. It is not appropriate to now claim that because Hillary won the popular vote, electors should switch their votes, when Trump won the election process fair and square with far less money spent. This would throw our nation into divisive chaos and set an extremely bad precedent. Electors need to stick with the candidate the people of their state chose in a fair election and not undermine our democratic process.
