Please consider special funding to:
1. purchase electric delivery vehicles for the U.S. Postal Service to reduce carbon emissions and dependance on fossil fuels and,
2. install solar panels where feasible to charge those vehicles.
This would free the Postal Service from the cost of fueling their vehicles which would reduce its operating deficit and it would encourage development of electric vehicle and battery technology, and be a model for private business adoption of these technologies. Secondly it would create untold numbbers of jobss as the private sector ramps up to build the vehicles and provide and install the panels.
