Elevate Lt. Garlin Murl Conner military service to reflect the Congressional Medal od Honor for his service in WW2.

Created by E.F. on March 12, 2014

Lt. Garlin Conner was the second most decorated soldier in WW2. His Commanding General as well as the soldiers with whom he fought have all stated that his actions were in keeping with the standards for the Congressional Medal of Honor.
We do ourselves and our Veterans a great disservice by letting a small technicality get in the way of what is right. His widow deserves to see here husband receive this medal before her passing.
If it takes a act of Congress to get this moving, then so be it. Our Nation needs to honor its hero's and honor those who they have left behind. We cannot write these men off into history without taking every action necessary to ensure that their courage is recognized in a manner that reflects their actions.
