elimate all federal spending related to the costs of holding primary elections

Created by S.C. on January 15, 2013

I want the government out of the primary election process.

The government is charged to hold elections for office, and that should be paid by my tax dollars. However, primary elections are a different matter. If organizations wish to elect a candidate who they will back in the election it should not be paid for by the american people's taxes. Political organizations should have to pay for their own costs of vetting a candidate. Security, building costs, printing of the ballots, using equipment, all should be on the individual party's dime, not the American Tax Payer. .
