elimate the penny. it costs more to make than it's worth, & thieves would stop stealing the copper wire to a/c units.

the penny is not worth the costs it takes to make it. copper is stolen all over the country everyday and sold for drug money. easy access to the exterior of our homes, but if you eliminate the penny, postage, sales tax, etc., benefits. just like AT&T, they add third party billing to our bills everyday, no body notices because it's such a small amount. people don't notice or care about the penny, however, they do care about the copper wire required to run the heat and air system, especially when it costs hundreds of dollars to replace it.
