There is much abuse and fraud in the welfare system. One such abuse is the Access Card (Food Stamp) program. Recipients are selling their taxpayer provided food stamps for pennies on the dollar to drug dealers in exchange for illegal drugs. This is made possible because there is no mandate for food stamps recipients to show photo ID in order to use these taxpayer provided funds. Please make it mandatory for all Access Card (Food Stamps) recipients to show photo ID when using their taxpayer provided free food. This will greatly reduce the abuse and fraud in the welfare system and keep these taxpayer provided funds in the right hands.
