We propose that all outside funding of political campaigns be forbidden. Thus eliminating any possibility of any bias, or appearance of bias by law makers, in the performance of their duties to their constituents.
Instead all properly registered candidates would receive funding from the jurisdictional government for which they are seeking elected office. (i.e. Federal funds for Federal offices, State funds for State offices, etc.) All funding would be in equal amounts to each candidate, the amount of which to be determined by the corresponding jurisdictional government.
We believe ONLY by eliminating outside funding will we truly get a representative government FOR THE PEOPLE, elected BY THE PEOPLE, who are NOT corporations, contrary to the Citizens United Ruling.
