Eliminate the antiquated practice of Daylight Savings Time.

Created by G.M. on October 28, 2015

The idea of daylight savings time was first introduced in 1895 in order to take advantage of longer summer evening light. During the 1970's energy crisis DST was used as an energy saving measure. However the turning of clocks back has a detrimental effect on the economy, family and health in general. Going to work in the dark and returning home in the dark allows for little if any activity after work. Less activity in the evening allows for less physical activity and poor health. Family can not spend quality time outside and shopping suffers due to the lack of time to do activities and projects outside. Generally the Dark to Dark atmosphere is demoralizing and causes cabin fever. I along with the undersigned propose the elimination of this archaic practice here in the 21st century.
