This petition is to eliminate the copays a veteran has for prescription drugs & the cost of Dental services they have once they are released from active duty service & or are non service connected veterans.
The yearly wage for a veteran to receive copayments for prescriptions is $13k a yr. & Dental work is not paid for at all by the VA unless it's a life or death matter. Think about the drug co not paying their fair share in taxes, think about the politicians taking money to get this legislation passed, all on the backs of the veterans that protect their freedoms in this country. No veteran service connected or not should be responsible for any costs when it comes to their health/dental care while drug companies are not even paying their fair share in taxes to support the veterans.
