Eliminate any potential of indefinite detention of ANY American citizen, and reconstitute all of our human rights.

The fact that there is any chance that one of us may be picked up and indefinitely detained by the very people we trust to run our government, is fundamentally against what this country stands for (referring to the AUMF and the NDAA). As a citizen of this great nation, I would like to feel safe from tyrannical, unjust laws and policies. The very basis of this petition is human rights. Ask yourself, would the people who put this law into affect want to be detained indefinitely, for anything? No. Detaining a citizen, indefinitely, without trial, is the making of a revolution. Don't forget the government works for us, not the other way around. And don't forget that either, President Obama.
