There are no longer any good reasons for keeping Daylight Savings Time. DST serves no healthy, productive purposes.
It can be the source for costly tech bugs in new technologies. DST isn't something that should even need to be planned for in software development.
It ruins sleep behavior, which in turn ruins the health of Americans.
We don't actually save time by jumping forward an hour or moving backwards an hour.
Individual Americans and businesses should be the ones deciding whether they'd like to wake up earlier or later. Forcing everyone to do so for antiquated and pointless reasons is needlessly disruptive to daily life.
According to the National Bureau of Standards, it doesn't save energy.
