The US guarantees seperation of church and state. We cannot have a Senate and House of Representative "Chaplain" reading passges from the Bible in front of each Congressional session. This is not only an embarassment to our founding ideals and Founding Fathers, it is not in the present interests of national security or civil rights for all minorities, either religious, gender-alternative or otherwise.
