Small data caps being introduced by broadband companies such as Comcast are eliminating net neutrality by requiring customers to pay for streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, HBOGo and others, while their own streaming services are not counted against caps.
If broadband internet is regulated as a Common Carrier, as was recently ruled by FCC and urged by the White House via the Broadband Opportunity Council, then artificially limiting paid customers' access to those utilities in order to force them to use their own services should be against the law.
This petition is to force broadband providers to eliminate data caps entirely, for all services.
