Eliminate bureaucratic red tape from the Department of Veterans Affairs by firing all top officials and restructuring it

Created by J.C. on July 16, 2014

As a veteran, I have found all encounters with the Department of Veterans Affairs to be extremely frustrating. It seems as though to have anything accomplished, we have to cut through layers of bureaucratic red tape. Most of the employees that I have come in contact with treated me as if I were solely a number and somehow an inconvenience to their day. I have observed this type of behavior towards other veterans as well. It is time that something be done with this flawed system. Instead of holding hearings and passing blame, the administration needs to send a message to the veterans that bravely fought for this country by completely restructuring the VA and starting over. The only way to eliminate the dilapidated culture that has been set forth by the VA is a complete restructure.
