Captcha has become a nuisance on the Internet. Designed to serve as a method to prevent bots from spamming a website, it causes more harm than good. Captcha confuses people who use it due to its twisted letters and at times, illegible font. To gain access to a website, users have to waste an ineffable amount of time deciphering two words, which takes away from precious hours of productivity. Moreover, Captcha makes it harder for older individuals and those with handicaps to access certain websites because of its unfriendliness to the eye. Captcha should be eliminated in order to make the Internet a more productive place.
