Eliminate the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The federal government is not in the fundraising business; it's not supposed to be allowing its employees to work in aiding a sector of the economy (non-profits). These tax-exempt organizations Should Do their own fundraising.
Feds waste an excessive amount of time managing a task that is Not related to the mission of their agencies. It's outrageous to see many highly-paid feds (above $80k) spending dozens of hours in fundraising activities. Not only that, feds are going thru a 3yr pay freeze, the scare of furloughs, possible increases to pensions and worse, tactics from exec leaders and supervisors pressuring them to contribute to the CFC to achieve agency goals. Feds are tired of being monetarily squeezed to benefit others. Enough!
