Eliminate congress single term retirement paychecks, and lower their retirement from 100% to 50% same as US military.

Created by C.F. on September 24, 2011

A full pension is available to Members 62 years of age with 5 years of service; 50 years or older with 20 years of service; or 25 years of service at any age. A reduced pension is available depending upon which of several different age/service options is chosen.

The current salary (2011) for rank-and-file members of the House and Senate is $174,000 per year.

Congress has now voted itself a total of $16,700 in raises over the last six years.

I propose term limits of US Congress to match the US President which would create differing opinions and reduce the stalemate bill passing.
