In a time of budget deficits and attacks on Social Security and Medicare it has become apparent we the people are burdened with congressional retirement benefits and health care that is WAY beyond that of the average U.S. citizen. Our founding fathers never intended for the USA to have professional representatives and so they should be required to provide these benefits to themselves as is typical of contract workers in the private sector.
